Electric Vertical Blinds with Somfy Motors - Pairing with Somfy Tahoma

To control electric vertical blinds using  SOMFY Tahoma, you will need ensure you order the with the Somfy Radio Operated Motor, as opposed to wired control.

Blind limits are set in the factory, and typically your blind will arrive paired with the handset, if you have ordered one.

When setting up Tahoma, within the Tahoma interface, you would then add an RTS device. The Tahoma interface will take you through a step-by-step wizard which tells you the process for pairing, which is:

1) On the existing handset, select the channel to which the blind is paired.
2) Press the small program button on the back of this handset until the blind jogs.
3) Press the program button on the new controller. For tahoma this would be an on screen button. The blind will jog again.

Once the electric vertical blind is paired with Tahoma, the functionality is limited to UP, MY and DOWN. With MY being a preferred angle of tilt.
